Are belt holsters universal?

What are your belt holsters made of?

Leather is an excellent material for gun holsters due to its durability, flexibility and overall look & feel. Leather has been used for holsters as long as guns have been around. Masters holsters are handmade from top grain, high quality cowhide leather, with top quality hardware and durable nylon stitching. You will notice the excellent craftsmanship, hand molding, rounded & finished edging and superior quality compared to low cost, factory made holsters. The thickness of the leather is just right to provide the best functionality and safety.

Do i need a special belt for owb carry?

Choice of belt for an owb holster has a direct impact on the functionality, safety and retention of a belt holster. It is important to use a sturdy belt for owb holsters, ideally made of thick leather. Belts made of fabric or flimsy, thin leather dont hold up well with the weight of the gun, tension from the waist and may interfere with drawing the gun quickly when needed. Masters holsters gun belts are made of a single piece of thick, sturdy bullhide leather. Owb belt holsters may be suitable for concealment with the right clothing. With jackets, coats or loose shirts most owb holsters may be concealed easily. Pancake style holsters are more suitable for concealment because they stay closer to the waist.
