What is In the Waistband (IWB) holster?

In the Waistband (IWB) holsters are designed to discreetly carry (conceal) a gun inside the waistband of pants between the body and clothing, while allowing easy access to the firearm. There are a wide variety of IWB designs.

Can I use an IWB holster for different types of handguns?

While IWB holsters are suitable for most semi-autos and revolvers, small to medium frame guns will be more comfortable inside the pants than large frame or long barrel firearms. IWB holsters are well suited for medium size pistols like Colt 1911 / Kimber 1911, Beretta 92, Sig P228 / P229, and most small to medium frame GLOCK models like Glock 19 / 17.
